SINGAPORE - Nokia has announced availability of its newest flagship smartphone, the Lumia 925 (check out our hands-on with the device here). Available in black, grey or white, the Lumia 925 will be available in Singapore from this Saturday, 20th July at all three telcos for $799.

First announced in London in May this year, The Lumia 925 has an aluminium frame which runs around the body, while the rear is made from polycarbonate and the front of glass. The Lumia 925 is slimmer than the 920, has a width of 8.5mm and weighs 139 grams, in comparison to the 920's thick 10.7mm and 185 grams.

The Lumia 925 comes with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a 4.5" OLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 768. The 925 has the same 8.7MP PureView camera as the 920, with optical image stabilization and dual-LED flash.

With the release of the Lumia 925 comes Nokia's Smart Camera mode which can capture ten images at once, and can let users take action shots, as well as remove blur, and remove or alter background subjects.

The Smart Camera mode will also be rolling out as an update to all existing Nokia Lumia smartphones.
