Olympic champ to sail in Singapore

Multiple Olympic champion Ben Ainslie, who was part of Oracle Team USA's miraculous comeback in the America's Cup in September last year, is coming here.
The Briton will skipper the JP Morgan Ben Ainslie Racing team in this year's Extreme Sailing Series, which will kick off in Singapore on Feb 20-23.
The Republic first hosted the series last year at The Promontory@Marina Bay. An eight-race tour featuring the speedy Extreme 40 catamarans will be kick-started at the same venue.
For the Singapore leg, local boat Team Aberdeen Singapore will join the starting grid. The team features national sailors Justin Ong and Scott Glen Sydney.
