Open For Business: 510 Sake Bar

Sake lovers can head to the new 510 Sake Bar, next to its sister outlet Nickeldime Drafthouse in Novena. Both outlets are by food and beverage group Hidden Door Concepts, which also owns Lower East Side Taqueria, Pigsfly Kitchen Bar and Spathe Public House.

Pair your sake or craft beer with an interesting selection of maki. They include pulled pork maki ($10, $25 with a pint of beer); and sriracha nuts maki ($15, $30 with a pint of beer) with sriracha nuts wrapped in sushi rice, drizzled with chocolate syrup and served with stout or vanilla ice cream on the side.

For lunch, donburi items ($15 each) are available, served with miso soup, salad, edamame and dessert. Options include ikura don (above), aburi don and barachirashi. The menu also includes sashimi and sushi items.
