Move over, burgers and sandwiches - the humble bao is getting a makeover.
The Bao Makers is amping up the classic kong bak bao ($12) with ingredients such as salted egg shrimp ($15, photo 5), chilli crab ($16) and pork bulgogi ($14). Each order comes with a pair of the buns and salad.
Other dishes include fish and chips ($16.90), seafood pasta ($16.90) and teriyaki chicken chop ($14.90).
Brunch items (on weekend and public holiday from 10am to 3pm) include Eggs Benedict ($15) and Hearty Breakfast ($17), with sausages, ham and choice of eggs.
Dessert options include red velvet cake sundae ($7), Nutella chocolate cake sundae ($7) and latte pudding ($6).
