Burgers Vs Wings + Bar

Have your fill of burgers and wings at this 180-seat restaurant, which opened two weeks ago in Orchard Central. Those who like their wings spicy can go for the Hot Buffalo Wings ($15.80), which are served with battered water spinach and come in three levels of spicy sauces - mild, medium or suicide. Other wings items include Cajun Barbecue Wings (below, $15.80) and Herbs Butter Injection Wings ($16.90), which have herbs, butter, mustard seeds and lemongrass stuffed in deep-fried wings.

Burger fans can tackle the Wagyu Beef Black ($28) burger, which has US wagyu beef patty, avocado, beer-battered onion rings, streaky bacon and truffle jam; or the Wagyu Beef Rossini Burger (above, $31.90), which includes pan- seared foie gras and caramelised onions, on top of a US wagyu beef patty.

The menu also features tapas items and various alcoholic beverages such as The Challenger ($14), which comes garnished with a red chilli.

The restaurant is designed to resemble a boxing ring, with boxing memorabilia such as punching bags and boxing gloves. During Half Time sessions, "Boxyz Ladies" will flash placards featuring various offers, from one-for-one deals to items that are going for $1.

One-Ninety Bar

Cocktails are flavoured with his custom-made Droplets range of non-alcoholic essences, which took three years to perfect.

Pair your drinks with gourmet offerings such as wood-fired focaccia with truffle mascarpone cheese, crispy calamari with lime and chipotle aioli ($24, right background), chickpea fritters with garlic emulsion and mint ($16, centre), house-special fried chicken with habanero chilli fire sauce ($24, foreground) and a charcuterie board with spicy Chorizo, Lomo and Iberico ham.
