Japanese food and beverage group AP Company Co, whose Singapore branch set up the collagen hotpot chain Tsukada Nojo, has launched two new restaurants in Tras Street - both with a focus on beef.
The Wagon's menu uses various cuts of beef in its dishes, such as beef consomme with homemade ravioli ($18); beef carpaccio topped with parmesan cheese ice cream, rocket salad and half-boiled egg ($25); beef cassoulet ($20), with beef confit, bologna sausage and stewed beef simmered with tomato sauce and white beans; Japanese beef platter ($55) and beef hamburg steak ($35).
If you are still hungry, take your pick of tapas from the wagon going around the restaurant.
For a more fine-dining experience, head next door to its sister outlet, Ushidoki Wagyu Kaiseki. The wagyu-focused kaiseki restaurant serves dinner set meals priced at $200 or $300.
