Three men were charged in court for trading counterfeit liquor to liquor distributors.

The three men who were arrested last year sold bottles baring the brands of Chivas Regal, Johnnie Walker Black Label, Martell and Hennessy to distributors for prices between $20 and $30.

The two brothers, Ong Bee Hong, 33, Ong Bee Hock, 37 and their cousin Michael Ong Bee Zhuan, 34, were arrested last year at their company premises off Hillview Avenue.

The fake liquor was smuggled in from Malaysia in cars that had their fuel tanks specially modified to carry the liquor into Singapore.
