Questions on Phase 2C

Questions on Phase 2C

If my child gets into Methodist Girls' School, will she have priority for the affiliated secondary school's Integrated Programme?

No. Primary school pupils do not get admission priority for the affiliated secondary school's six-year Integrated Programme track, in which students progress to junior college without taking O-level exams.

But pupils will still get priority when they apply for the affiliated secondary school's normal, four-year O-level track.

What happens if I have to move to a new address later this year after having already registered my child at a school?

You can approach another school which is nearer to your new home for a transfer, or ask the Education Ministry's (MOE) help for a move to a school nearer which has vacancies.

My sister takes care of my daughter. Can I use her home address for Primary 1 registration?

Yes, but a statutory declaration is required.

Both you and your husband must be working full-time and your sister must not be employed and must be providing full-time care for your daughter.

I live in Tampines. How do I find out which schools are near my home?

You can view the list of primary schools in Tampines on the MOE's Primary 1 registration website. There is also a link to the OneMap service.
