The Asus Xonar Essence STU is an external USB digital-to-analogue converter and headphone amplifier with user-friendly external controls.
Its strong 600ohm headphone amplifier is built to allow it to deliver clear and precise sound with 120decibel signal-to-noise ratio. It also allows you to switch between low- and high-gain settings for different headphones.
Dual-volume control knobs help you change speaker and headphone sound levels simultaneously. In addition to the USB port, it has a stereo RCA out, an auxiliary input and two digital input ports.
