Sony calls the VPL-FHZ55 the world's first 3LCD laser projector.
It uses blue laser as a light source and is one of the brightest single chassis laser projectors in the market with its ability to achieve 4,000 lumens. Conventional 3LCD projectors have a brightness level of about 2,800 lumens.
The projector has native WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200 x 3) detailed resolution with instant power on and off for smooth presentations. It is available in black and white.
