Here's a tasty and spicy SG50 tribute: The Sambal King burger ($8.15 for a meal) from Burger King.

It features Singapore-style sambal, caramelised onions and cucumber slices over a chicken thigh patty.

And if this is as good as the Rendang Burger, it'll be worth the calories. But delicious things don't last. It is available only till early September.
