Sample Flavours Of The World as Plaza Singapore turns 40

SINGAPORE - Want to indulge in freshly shucked oysters, wines and live jazz performances?

Head down to Plaza Singapura this week and have an exquisite day out.

The mall is organising an inaugural epicurean event called Flavours Of The World to mark its 40th anniversary.

The event will feature an oyster bar, meat-carving stations, an extensive selection of beers, ciders and wines, as well as exclusive launches of new-to-market food and beverage brands and products.

Shoppers can also enjoy wine tasting, live jazz performances and interactive games.

The event is on till Sunday at the mall's Main Atrium on Level 1, from 11am to 10pm daily.

Wine connoisseurs can look forward to sampling new and exclusive labels, such as Terra Vega from award-winning Chilean wine producer Luis Felipe Edwards.

Beer lovers can anticipate the arrival of the limited-edition Rekorderlig Winter Brew, which is making its first appearance in Singapore.

There will also be a personalised wine-labelling service for shoppers to customise their wine bottles.

The event will see the introduction of new potato chips brands in Singapore. Herr's, Torres, and Vintage Italia are best-selling brands imported from the United States, Spain and Britain respectively.

Shoppers will get to sample these exclusive new F&B products.
