Sending bulk mail: SingPost replies

SINGAPORE - We thank Mr Chan Yeow Chuan for his feedback and suggestion to impose limits on the sending of bulk mail ("Impose limit on sending bulk mail"; Nov 30).

We are sorry to hear of his experience and apologise for the inconvenience.

We do have a programme in place for corporate customers sending large quantities of homogeneous mail, to have their mail lodged in SingPost's Bulk Mail Centre.

For retail customers, we will soon be adding a new feature to our Web-based self-help tool, ezy2ship, to enable them to manage domestic and international registered articles at their convenience.

With ezy2ship, small and medium-sized enterprises can increase their productivity by printing mail labels themselves and dropping off their mail at any post office counter. This will save them time while enabling us to better serve all customers.

Patsie Tan (Ms) Assistant Vice-President, Corporate Communications Singapore Post
