Shelter In The Woods (22 Greenwood Avenue) is now serving Sunday brunch from 11.30am to 2.30pm.
The affable chef Masashi Horiuchi - born in Japan, trained in Europe - has many delicious dishes on the menu.
My favourites are the savoury Vol-au-vent Chicken-Mushroom ($24), Croque-Madame ($20), the photogenic Shelter Sunday Roast Beef ($38), and if you must have eggs, there is the Shelter Eggs Benedict ($22).
