BABYMETAL - GIMME CHOCOLATE!

Hands down J-pop's most ingenious invention, Babymetal - a bubbly trio who play "kawaii metal", a blend of ferocious death metal screams and sugary bubblegum tunes - has been a sensation in Asia since 2012, but somehow remained relatively anonymous in the West. Until now.

The girls' latest video, a simple recording of their live performance, emerged a viral YouTube hit in less than two weeks. Maybe people are enthralled by their cutesy hand signs or the inane lyrics about indulging in sweets. Whatever the case, Babymetal are winners.

IGGY AZALEA (FEAT. CHARLI XCX) - FANCY

A cute remake of the hit 1995 comedy film Clueless basically sums this video up.

The Australian rapper channels her inner rich girl a la main character Cher (played by Alicia Silverstone).

Azalea struts her stuff down the school halls alongside English singer-songwriter Charlie XCX and other friends imitating Stacey Dash's Dionne and Donald Faison's Murray.

Ditsy isn't all she pretends to be. She even gets down and dirty in one particular scene, seductively carrying out the naughty choreography against a fence by the football fields.

DJ CASSIDY (FEAT. ROBIN THICKE AND JESSIE J) - CALLING ALL HEARTS

Since Bruno Mars was introduced to the world, everyone has been jumping on the 70s-styled Earth, Wind & Fire-type bandwagon.

Here, Robin Thicke, Jessie J and DJ Cassidy are seen dancing and singing on top of a pink heart, surrounded by musicians, palm trees and flamingos.

Great video, but only one thing comes to mind.

If Thicke really wants his actress-wife Paula Patton back in his life, rubbing up against another chick just isn't going to help his cause.
