Rolling Stones concert cancelled

The Rolling Stones have cancelled their Perth concert after the shocking death of fashion designer L'Wren Scott, the longtime girlfriend of frontman Mick Jagger.

The English rock band were due to kick off the Australian leg of their world tour today but will not go ahead with the first stop in Perth following Scott's apparent suicide at her Manhattan apartment on Monday. They are expected to axe the remaining gigs too.

According to reports, Jagger, 70, has flown back to New York. His spokesman said: "He is completely shocked and devastated by the news."
