They'd do anything for Kim Soo Hyun

Is Korean star Kim Soo Hyun worth potentially going to jail for?

Frighteningly, some die-hard Singapore fans appear to think so. They are considering breaking the law just to get a chance to get really close to him.

The fans are contemplating buying fake IDs (identification) in a desperate bid to get up-close with their idol at his upcoming fan meet here.

This came after they read a report in local Chinese newspapers that the 25-year-old heart-throb will be celebrating the birthday of anyone born on the day of the fan meet - April 27.

The fans are thinking of buying fake IDs which would have their birthdays doctored to reflect April 27.

Local fan J Khoo, a 29-year-old financial adviser, said: "There are 10 of us who have formed a mini fan club for Kim Soo Hyun, and of course we all want to meet him.

"I'm guessing the birthday girls will be invited on stage and there'll be a cake and everything. I'm sure they'll get their pictures taken with him, too.

"So we definitely want to try to be part of this amazing opportunity as well. None of us are born on April 27, so we are thinking of other creative ways to go around it. Of course we know this is illegal, that's why we are only thinking about it."

Kim fever swept into town after it was confirmed yesterday that the top Korean actor will be here for the 2014 Kim Soo Hyun Asia Tour 1st Memories In Singapore on April 27 at Singapore Expo Hall 1 at 7.30pm.

Presented by New Empire Media and supported by UnUsUal Group Of Companies, tickets are priced at $238, $188 and $138 and will be available from Sistic from March 25.

The tour, which commenced in Seoul, Korea, will also take the star to Taiwan, China, Japan, Thailand and Indonesia. He's expected to sing and take part in interactive games on stage.
