Silver medal for para-swimmer Theresa Goh

Team Singapore para-swimmer Theresa Goh won her first silver medal at the Asian Para Games 2014 in the Women's 50m Freestyle finals, with a time of 46.80 seconds.

This is also the first silver medal for Singapore at the Games.

Gold and bronze medals went to Kazakhstan's Gabidullina, who broke the world record at a time of 46.40 seconds, and China's Bai Juan (46.95 seconds) respectively.

Earlier in the day, the Team Singapore sailing team of Jovin Tan Wei Qiang, 28, and Yap Qian Yin, 24, won Singapore's first gold medal at the second Asian Para Games.
