17 CCs to screen live match between Man United and Liverpool on Dec 14

SINGAPORE - 17 Community Clubs (CC) island-wide will be screening the highly-anticipated match between Manchester United and Liverpool on Dec 14, said a People's Association (PA) statement released today.

PA invites residents to head down to the following CCs to catch the football match: Bishan, Bukit Batok East, Buona Vista, Chua Chu Kang, Clementi, Fengshan, Gek Poh Ville, Kaki Bukit, Kim Seng, Paya Lebar Kovan, Pek Kio, Tampines West, Telok Blangah, Toa Payoh Central, Yew Tee, Yio Chu Kang, Zhenghua.

Kick-off will start at 9.30pm, and residents can look forward to participating in Guess the Winner games and lucky draws. They will also stand a chance to win attractive prizes such as a Manchester United FC or Liverpool FC jersey.

Mr Michael Foo, Director (Community Sports Division), PA said: "We are delighted that residents are enjoying the BPL screenings at the CCs. BPL live screenings like these are a great opportunity for families and friends to get together and cheer on their favourite teams. We look forward to having the residents join us regularly throughout the entire BPL season!"
