17-year-old man arrested for molest

SINGAPORE - Police have arrested a 17-year-old man responsible for molesting a woman at Clementi West Street 2.
On Aug 13, officers from Clementi Police Division received a report in the said housing estate about a female victim who was molested as she was exiting the lift.
Officers immediately conducted extensive investigations to establish the identity of the suspect.
The man was subsequently apprehended on Aug 15, at around 12pm in the vicinity of Bukit Batok Street 21.
Investigations are still ongoing.
If convicted, he faces a jail term up to two yers, or a fine, or canning, or a combination of such punishments.
