18-year-old man arrested for two molest cases

SINGAPORE - Police arrested an 18-year-old man believed to be responsible for two molest cases in Tampines.
Two victims were molested by a masked man along the common corridor of HDB blocks in Tampines on June 22 and July 31.
Police traced and arrested the suspect along Tampines Street 22 on August 8 at 4.15am.
The man will be charged for an offence of outrage of modesty. If convicted, he faces either a jail term of up to 2 years, a fine, caning, or any combination of such punishments.
Police advise members of the public who encounter such situations to remain calm, take note of the suspect's physical description, and call the police as soon as it is safe to do so.
