SINGAPORE - One man and one woman, aged 37 and 34, are being accused of stealing liquor worth $124 from a supermarket.
The police said that the suspects were arrested after their identities were established via CCTV footage captured at the Jurong East supermarket on January 24.
Several stolen items, believed to be worth $900 in total, were recovered from a house they shared.
The female suspect is also believed to be involved with two other cases of theft at the same supermarket and at a mall at Jurong Gateway Road.
They will face court on Saturday. If convicted, the suspects may be jailed for up to seven years and fined.
