Police have arrested two men, aged 25 and 27 years old, who are believed to be responsible for a series of theft from vehicle cases reported in Jurong West.
In October and November 2013, cases of theft from vehicles were reported at open and multi-storey car-parks in Jurong West. Cash cards and other valuables were taken from the vehicles.
Following extensive ground enquiries, police arrested both suspects along Jurong West Street 42 on Monday morning.
The 25 year old suspect will be charged in court on Nov 20 for theft. Investigations against the 27-year-old are still ongoing.
Police advise motorists not to leave valuables in their vehicles unattended, and valuables that are visible to passers-by attract opportunistic criminals.
Motorists are urged to lock their vehicles at all times and park in well-lit places.
