
SINGAPORE - Three teenagers, aged between 16 and 17, have been arrested for suspected involvement in a case of robbery from a taxi at Japanese Gardens Road.
At about 2am on Sunday morning, the taxi driver lodged a police report, claiming that he was assaulted and robbed.
Upon receiving the report, officers from Clementi Police Division managed to establish the identity and whereabouts of the suspects within 8 hours and made the arrest.
The suspects will be charged in court on Monday.
If convicted, they could be imprisoned for up to 20 years or be punished with a minimum of 12 strokes of the cane.
