3 teens arrested for causing mischief by fire

Three teenagers have been arrested for allegedly setting fire to clothes along common corridors in Jurong West.

One boy and two girls, aged between 13 and 15, were caught yesterday and today after police officers managed to establish their identities.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the trio were involved in at least three such offences.

Commander of Jurong Police Division, Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Police Wilson Lim said that the police will not tolerate such blatant disregard for public safety and property damage and stressed that the police will spare no effort to bring such offenders to task.
