52% off combo tickets to Singapore Zoo and other wildlife parks in Aug

SINGAPORE - There's one more reason to celebrate National Day next month, as Wildlife Reserves Singapore is offering a 52 per cent discount off two parks' admission fees, in celebration of the nation's 52nd birthday.

The offer is only available to visitors residing in Singapore, from August 1 to 31.

Local residents can choose between Singapore Zoo and River Safari, or Singapore Zoo and Jurong Bird Park for the special two-park combination offer, according to a statement from Wildlife Reserves Singapore.

The offer is valid only for purchases on-site but the good thing is, you won't have to cram all the sightseeing within a day, as you can visit the two selected parks within a week.

Members will also get to enjoy 52 per cent off selected items featuring animal icons Ah Meng the orangutan, Canola the manatee, and Sunny the hornbill.

As part of the highlights, visitors can expect to see a manatee unveiling a National Day banner, as well as local buskers performing National Day songs at the parks' entrances.

And what's a National Day celebration without local delights?

Kampong Mandai at Singapore Zoo will offer treats such as satay, rojak and pisang goreng from Aug 5 to 13, and also a special "Lion City" Miloccino, topped with a dusting of cocoa powder in the shape of the Merlion.

Admission fees to the parks are as follows:

Jurong Bird Park: $29.00 (adult) and $19.00 (child 3 to 12 years)
River Safari: $30.00 (adult) and $20.00 (child 3 to 12 years)
Singapore Zoo: $33.00 (adult) and $22.00 (child 3 to 12 years)
