According a statement by the Singapore Police Force (SPF), 44 men and 9 women were arrested. Investigations are currently ongoing.

In a 17-hour island-wide operation that took place between 18 February and 19 February 2014, Police arrested 53 persons for various criminal offences.

Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the six police land divisions conducted anti-crime operations at locations island-wide. A total of 53 persons, comprising 44 males and 9 females, were arrested for various offences, including rioting, cheating, criminal breach of trust, forgery, robbery, as well as theft-related offences.

Investigations are ongoing.

Deputy Director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Assistant Commissioner of Police Florence Chua commended the officers for their excellent coordination resulting in a successful operation. She added, "This was a complex operation in which officers showed great perseverance and determination in locating and arresting these persons. Officers worked closely together to bring these criminals to task. No one is above the law."
