SINGAPORE - Eight people have been arrested for suspected drug-related offences following a 16-hour joint enforcement operation.
In addition, eleven public entertainment outlets were checked and four of them were found to have fire safety violations.
The operation, held on Sept 22, was jointly led by Ang Mo Kio Division, Central Narcotics Bureau Enforcement 'F' Division and supported by officers from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
The officers conducted checks at public entertainment outlets and public housing estates in Ang Mo Kio, Hougang, Yishun, Serangoon and Sembawang.
Investigations are ongoing.
