Accident between lorry and taxi in Little India leaves 3 injured

SINGAPORE - A lorry, which was ferrying workers, got into an accident with a taxi at about 6pm yesterday in Little India, leaving three injured.

A Stomp reader who was at the scene told the citizen journalism website that an ambulance arrived 30 minutes after the accident.

He said: "I alighted at Little India MRT station and noticed people gathering around the accident site.

"I called to report it and understood that they had already been informed.

"Saw one injured man lying behind the lorry in the lap of another man who seemed to have fractured ribs.

"The taxi driver had minor injuries on his hand."
