AMK stabbing: Two women charged

Two women, who allegedly stabbed a man at his Ang Mo Kio HDB flat, were charged in court on Monday.

Linda Leong Sok Koon, 43, and Goh San Yen, 40, are accused of voluntarily causing hurt to Mr Goh Tee Kuan, 43, with a weapon at his home at about 8pm on Saturday.

According to court papers, when Mr Goh answered the door, the women, who were each carrying a 27cm knife with a 16cm blade, stabbed him in the chest and abdomen.

Mr Goh was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where he underwent an operation, reported Shin Min Daily News.

For voluntarily causing hurt with a weapon, Leong and Goh can each be jailed up to seven years, fined and/or caned.
