Battlestar Galactica roller coaster to reopen early 2015: RWS

SINGAPORE - The Battlestar Galactica: Human vs Cylon roller coaster is targeted to re-open in early 2015, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) announced in a blogpost on Friday.

The star attraction of Universal Studios Singapore, which is billed as the tallest duelling roller coaster in the world, will feature two new two-seat ride vehicles.

This is to offer riders a "more intimate and personal ride experience", said RWS.

Other than that, the two different roller coaster experiences remain unchanged in the on-going battle between the Cylons and Humans.

The roller coaster was closed on July 21 last year for a "review". No other details were given then as to why the ride was closed.

RWS said that they will announce the specific reopening date at a later time.
