Big tree branch falls on top of bus

SINGAPORE - A big tree branch fell and hit the front and top of a bus Monday morning, breaking its left rear mirror.
Avid AsiaOne reader Mr Tay, 69, was on his way to work when the incident occurred at around 8.17am today.
The bus was along Jalan Bukit Merah on its way to the city when the 'very big' branch of the tree fell on the bus as it reached a bus stop.
According to Mr Tay, no one was injured.
He also told AsiaOne that the bus driver was unable to carry on driving and all the other passengers had to alight from the bus.
