Bigger butterfly paradise

Tampines residents will have a larger butterfly paradise in their backyard next year.

An existing open-air 132 sq m butterfly garden in Tampines Changkat will be doubled in size and housed within a netted dome.

Visitors to the new butterfly garden, which will have more than 100 butterflies flitting about during dry weather, can view the winged creatures close up at a gathering deck.

The enclosure will also have educational panels on butterflies and waterfall features.
