Biker dies in hospital after allegedly beating red light and crashing into car at Still Rd

The biker who crashed into a car at the junction of Still Road and Koon Seng Road subsequently died from his injuries in hospital.

In response to Stomp's queries, the Police said that they were alerted to an accident involving a car and a motorcycle at the junction of Still Road, Koon Seng Road, and Lorong Jalan Tekok Kurau.

"The 27-year-old male motorcyclist was conscious when conveyed to to Changi General Hospital (CGH), where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries," said a Police spokesperson.

Police investigations are ongoing.

In a video posted on ROADS.sg and credited to Louis Tan, the caption stated that the rider had beat the traffic light by at least three seconds.

"Wishing the motorcyclist a speedy and full recovery," added the caption.

The clip shows the biker flipping in the air after slamming into the side of the car.

He hits the front of the car before landing on the road. As he lays injured on the side of the road, the driver of the car steps out to help him.
