Caught on video: Foreign workers save cat from drowning in drain

SINGAPORE - A group of foreign workers climbed into the drain to rescue a cat, in a heart-warming moment that would melt you.

In a video posted by Yvonne Hairstyles on Facebook yesterday (Dec 11), she recounted how she was walking home on a rainy day when she heard a cat meowing for help.

Yvonne then discovered that the cat's cries came from the drain.

She was worried that the feline would drown as the drain was filling up with rainwater, but she did not know how to help it.

Just then, a group of foreign workers passed by and she asked for their help.

They agreed to the rescue mission, going out of their way by climbing into the drain.

The frightened cat quickly ran away after being rescued.
