Celebrating World Thinking Day

SINGAPORE - Patron of Girl Guides Singapore Mary Tan, who is the wife of President Tony Tan Keng Yam, watches as 10-year-old Brownie Low Jian En from River Valley Primary and a fellow Brownie try to blow a ball across cups of water in Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Secondary. At another booth, Girl Guides try their hand at creating voodoo doll craft, a culture of African state Benin.

The games were organised for World Thinking Day, which falls on Feb 22 and is celebrated by Girl Guides and Girl Scouts worldwide. This year's theme is "education opens doors for all girls and boys".
