SINGAPORE - He's the Lyon king.
Final-year computer science undergraduate Chia Yan An is congratulated by Nanyang Technological University president Bertil Andersson yesterday after creating the institution's new mascot, Lyon the lion.
The 24-year-old incorporated the university's colours, red and blue, into the mascot's mane "for a distinctive look".
His effort beat more than 80 entries in NTU's mascot design competition.
Mr Chia said: "I'm honoured by this opportunity to leave a legacy in NTU before I graduate."
