Danone Dumex expands precautionary recall of milk powder products in Singapore

SINGAPORE - Danone Dumex has voluntarily recalled three additional products in Singapore as a precautionary measure.

In a statement on Aug 7, Danone Dumex said that the products do not contain the potentially contaminated whey product manufactured by Fonterra, but the batches of formula were packed on a production line that may have had residues of the potentially contaminated raw material.

Here is the full statement by Danone Dumex:

Following further detailed investigation, Danone Dumex has taken a decision to voluntarily recall additional products as a precautionary measure.

These additional products do not contain the potentially contaminated whey product manufactured by Fonterra but these batches of formula were packed on a production line that may have had residues of the potentially contaminated raw material by Fonterra.
