Drug addicts threaten jail's medical officers

Medical officers posted at Faridkot jail in Punjab, North India, are fearing for their lives as the addicts there have threatened to harm them if their demand for drugs was not met.

The doctors vowed to stop treating addicts if they were not provided security, reported Malaysia Nanban.

Faridkot jail has around 2,100 inmates and many of them are under treatment for drug abuse.
