Edgefield Secondary student gives up shoes for wandering barefoot boy

SINGAPORE - A student who helped a wandering boy to safety was caught on camera doing the good deed.

Not only did the student take care of the barefoot boy who seemed lost, he even gave him his shoes. Facebook user Zen Ginji on Wednesday posted a photo of the boy in oversized shoes with a caption commending the student. He said the student is from Edgefield Secondary School in Punggol.

Mr Ginji said two students came to the aid of the boy, but only one of them can be seen in the photo posted. Mr Ginji, who chanced upon the students, said he called the police because they did not know what to do with the boy. The three of them then waited for the police to arrive.

He wrote: "I wish to share a good deed done by these two students from Edgefield Secondary school...There are good people all around and they deserve to be recognise(d) for their good deeds."
