Sales manager Lim Hiang Poh and his son, Ryan, eight, were among the 671 father-child pairs who took part in Sunday's Safra Singapore Bay Run and Army Half Marathon.
The pairs raced for 800m, setting a new record for the largest father-child race here.
Even Minister of State for Defence Maliki Osman, who flagged off the race, joined in with his son, Adli, 15.
This year's event drew over 46,000 runners and was flagged off by Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen and Minister of Social and Family Development Chan Chun Sing.
