Fire breaks out at Kent Vale Serviced Residences

SINGAPORE - A fire broke out on the 24th floor of a block at Kent Vale Serviced Residences in Clementi on Monday morning, The Straits Times reported.

All residents were evacuated and no injuries were reported.

Kent Vale Residences is used to house guests of the National University of Singapore (NUS), which is located nearby.

According to the Singapore Civil Defence Force, the fire was put out within 15 minutes upon their arrival, and the cause is still being investigated.

The university's Office of Housing Services said on Monday via a post on its Facebook page that residents have returned to their apartments, and that normal operations have resumed.
