SINGAPORE - The first shipment of frozen chicken from Thailand since 2004 will hit stores here next month.
Imports of frozen poultry from Thailand were suspended by the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore in 2004 following the outbreak of bird flu there.
The ban was lifted in June after an inspection mission last year. Since then, two food manufacturers - CP Foods and Golden Line Business - have been given the green light.
