First tranche of Bulim package bus services to roll out on May 29

The new Bulim bus package managed by Tower Transit Singapore, will be implemented in three tranches from May 29 to June 26, the company said in a joint statement with the Land Transport Authority (LTA) today (April 29).

The package consists of 26 bus services operating from Bukit Batok, Clementi and Jurong East interchanges. They will terminate at interchanges in Bedok, Marina Centre, Shenton Way, and Toa Payoh. They will also be supported by the Bulim Bus Depot located off Jurong West Avenue

"The Bulim bus package marks the start of the bus contracting model. We would like to assure commuters that LTA, Tower Transit Singapore, SBS Transit and SMRT are working together tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that the transition is as smooth as possible," Mr Chew Men Leong, LTA's chief, said.

Mr Andrew Bujtor, managing director of Tower Transit Singapore, said that the company is "now in a very good position in terms of manpower and operational readiness".
