Flash floods in Clementi, Dunearn Road

SINGAPORE - Netizens reported flooding in the Clementi area as well as Dunearn Road after a heavy downpour hit Singapore in the afternoon today (Nov 4).

Twitter user Vishnu Prem (@burnflare) took a picture of several cars and buses driving through a flooded road in Clementi.

Public Utilities Board (PUB) Singapore also tweeted a report of flash floods at Dunearn Rd, Lorong Kismis and junction of Sunset Drive/Sunset Square. At around 4pm, they warned that the water level in the Bukit Timah Canal had risen to "above 90 per cent" and that the road is facing a high flood risk.
