Get the best bargains at SIDS Fest next week

The Singapore International Deepavali Shopping Festival (SIDS Fest), which will be held from Sept 18 to 22, promises to bring to you all the colour and excitement of Deepavali, the Hindu festival of lights.

The festival is being brought to you by tabla! and Tamil Murasu, two prominent publications for the Indian community in Singapore and events company de ideaz.

The five-day festival, to be held at Singapore Expo, will feature stalls from India, Singapore and other parts of South Asia, selling a variety of products like clothes, accessories, arts and crafts, children's toys and apparel, electronic goods, jewellery, bridal items and offering various travel deals. Everything you would need to make your Deepavali this year a perfect celebration.

However, the biggest draw at the festival is Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan who will be present at the venue.

Lucky draws will be held from Sept 18-20 to select winners of Krrish Lounge passes to meet Hrithik.

The star of movies like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Jodhaa Akbar and Dhoom 2 is coming to promote his latest film Krrish 3, which will hit theatres here on Nov 4.

The film is a sequel to Krrish, in which Hrithik played a superhero, and Koi Mil Gaya. All three films are directed and produced by his father Rakesh Roshan. Krrish was shot extensively in Singapore and the actor felt it was the right place to begin the international promotion of Krrish 3 which takes the story of the superhero forward.

So don't miss your chance to catch Hrithik at the Deepavali fair.

Also not to be missed is your chance to get the best bargains and the best Deepavali shopping experience in Singapore, which will provide you with choices galore for all your festive needs.
