He grabbed his victim's right breast so hard that bruises later appeared on it.
Malaysian Mohd Firdaus A Rahman, 29, who worked in a restaurant on Sentosa island, was jailed for seven months yesterday, after pleading guilty to two charges of molest.
A third charge for the same offence and one count of theft were taken into consideration.
Mohd Firdaus targeted his first victim at the Merlion Plaza at around 10.30pm on Nov 23 last year.
The 30-year-old woman was walking along a bridge when Mohd Firdaus approached her from behind.
He said "Give me this, give me this" and grabbed both her breasts.
SHE FELL BACK
Deputy Public Prosecutor (DPP) Norine Tan said that the woman struggled to break free and fell backwards when she lost her balance. Mohd Firdaus fled the scene and she lodged a police report two hours later.
He struck again at the same place about a month later.
DPP Tan said that he approached a 19-year-old girl at around 1.30am on Christmas Day and grabbed her right breast.
She screamed for help, but no one heard her.
Despite being in shock, she managed to make her way home, where she told her cousin about her ordeal and was advised to make a police report.
The teen later found bruises on her breast and informed the authorities at around 6am that day.
Mohd Firdaus was arrested at his workplace at around 8.30pm on Jan 13.
For each charge, he could have been jailed for up to two years, fined, caned or received any combination of all three.
