Good samaritans help Lucky Plaza store owner nab thief

SINGAPORE - A group of passers-by helped a mobile store owner at Lucky Plaza to nab an alleged thief at about 3.30pm on Friday (Dec 13).

According to Citizen journalism website Stomp, the store owner chased the man, and others joined the pursuit.

The contributor, Ng, said that four to five good Samaritans managed to pin the suspect down, even though he was resisting throughout.

The police arrived soon after and arrested the suspected thief, not before taking statements from the store owner and bystanders.
