MALAYSIA - A grandfather of eight grandchildren who has been feeding his daily drug addiction since 20 years ago was among 42 addicts detained in an anti-drug raid under the Tok Pasai bridge in Kuala Kedah, reported Kosmo!

The 62-year-old, known as Pak Long, said he would go under the bridge in the mornings and afternoons to get his drugs supply.

"I spend around RM10 daily for my fix," he said when he was caught by the police yesterday.

Kota Setar district police chief Assistant Commissioner Adzaman Mohd Jan said most of the addicts were fisherman, aged between 27 and 62 years old.

The bridge was believed to be a spot for drug dealing since two years ago.

"We found a man with heroin weighed between 0.08 to 0.10g, but he was not the drug dealer. Investigations are ongoing till we find the right suspect," said ACP Adzaman.
