Halimah Yacob and Lawrence Wong to co-lead Marsiling-Yew Tee team

SINGAPORE - Speaker of Parliament Halimah Yacob and Minister Lawrence Wong will be co-leading the Marsiling-Yew Tee Group Representation Constituency (GRC), Channel NewsAsia reported on Thursday.

Mr Wong, who is Minister for Culture, Community, and Youth, announced the move while speaking to reporters at Woodlands.

Madam Halimah Yacob will be moving from her post at Jurong GRC while Mr Wong will be leaving his post at West Coast GRC.

The Minister posted a video of his house visits within Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC on his Facebook page on Thursday. The video also shows him joining residents in line-dancing.

Late last month, Dr Chee Soon Juan's Singapore Democratic Party said that it is eyeing the new Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC.
